As 2009 comes to end I decided to add my own bit of silly humor to cheer up the Holiday Season. What a year this has been. Tiger is dominating the headlines, while Senators bicker over Health Care and giving a date to ending our occupation in the Middle East. But then what I do I know I have found the economy to be bumpy the road is going to be long as long as we continue to engage in war. Ive been touched to get many wide viewpoints from our troops and they are so brave fighting for freedom of people you don't know if you can trust. I have found myself captivated by the headlines of 2009. This year began with such optimism people were excited the world was going to change. Change it did it blew up Bernie Madoff what a character he turned out to be fleecing his own best friend of 60 years for Millions and Millions the man is 90 years old believed in a friend and he to got a double whammy lost everything and who he thought was his best friend. Amazing how greed can destroy relationships the Astor case baffles my mind stealing from your dementia ridden mother, your ill. It will be the hot excuse for 2010 for all the greedy. Alot has changed this year my hair my weight and my attitude have all changed. I got into the spirit of volunteerism how full-filling that part of my life has been. I have been through alot this year and my previous blogs have expressed that. But last night I was watching the Carrie Underwood Christmas Special and was feeling a little Bah Humbug not looking forward to the endless family parties and social events that this season seems to bring upon us. Than I thought about how blessed I was and am blessed I have been through out some crazy stuff. Yet I have triumphed and came out of the ruins still standing. I Love Football its my favorite sport Vick is back and strong angry but strong. T.O. has mellowed out and the Saints unbelievable this past Sunday where did that comeback come from. Alabama beating Florida sorry Urban but karma sucks go Alabama. But Tim Tebow what a class act unlike our friend at BYU Matt Hall who showed true unsportsmanlike like behavior. I guess what I am trying to say is have respect for one another this Holiday Season. Smile when you don't want too you may make someone elses day. Don't say something mean about someone they might just hear you. Love like you have never loved you don't know if tomorrow is promised. Be a mentor you don't know when somebody might need it more than you'll know. If you are tired go outside and breathe in the crisp winter air it will awaken your spirit.
