Tonight I sat and watched the opening games of the Winter Olympics. I remembered when they were here it was magical. I did not have time to go to one event at least not one sporting event. I met amazing people went to Finland's Olympic House. Wow they can tip them back those Finnish Folks oh but I was so young and bright eyed and excited. The Olympics bring some kind of magic unexplainable to a community for two weeks your hosting the world and people are nicer and everyone is buzzing with excitement. I went to a medal ceremony that is moving people who have trained for a lifetime to do things I am afraid to do. I have lived in the City of Salt all my life and have never skied amazing right? Nah not my thing I enjoy an amazing massage at the Cliff Lodge and watching the Daredevils come down the mountain that is fun. Lodges a wonderful time shoot you might just catch me at one, who knows? Then my favorite part came on the new version of We Are The World!!!!!!!! Wow I still have the first issued vinyl record with the plastic and the price tag still on it. I loved when Jamie Foxx sings like Ray Charles its almost as a ghost is there singing the song and there is one singing along with the amazing group they brought together. The King Of Pop, I was skeptical when This Is It came out didn't go see it but watched it the other night and wow I think that sometimes the mainstream media doesn't get it. Sometimes people just want to be left alone and not hear it. Everyday I listen to the politics of our great Nation. People are mad that the economy is better but not good enough. Didn't is take Eight years of Bush economics to get us here. An unwinnable war that sadly people are burying their loved ones daily rows of metal coffins with the Red White and Blue layed upon them. And the Haitians they remind me of the Ethiopia we were saving Twenty - Five years ago. But the stories that have come from that tragedy. A seventeen year old girl dragged her over 100 year old great grandmother who was blind no one left behind that's real love. And we still have our problems and we have our moans. But where did the optic of 2009 are we going to solve the problem of keep complaining. We are saving our own lives its true we make a better world you and me. Bill Clinton heart problems no good. Yet they had to force him to return from Haiti to have two stints placed in his heart only one of four living former Presidents. What a group that would be to sit down and chat with. I know that people are hurting I get it. And folks are losing jobs. But don't give up, don't be mad about what Barack Obama is doing he came into a mess that has a lot of clean up. And the middle class don't you get tired of shouldering the burdens of the upper class. So Vote and pray our founding fathers did not fight so hard for our freedom. Don't be mad at Gay people they don't want to hurt you just have the same rights as you. I guess we are all afraid of what might happen or what is going to happen. If I have learned is tomorrow is not promised. Tell those who you Love you Love them even if at that time you don't Love them. Don't live with regret it ages you. 2010 came in with a roar and I have been watching Backpage and there are ads out there that are sketchy. Be Careful if it seems to good to be true it probably is. I've learned this in the past months if I am having a bad day that usually means watch out but I've been smiling a lot lately and sometimes people smile back and sometimes they don't but I hope they felt a little better by someone smiling it makes me feel warm when I get smiled at. Katrina the Ninth Ward got God to kiss them Superbowl win they deserved that. I just hope that all the people suffering in the world get the help they need.
